Members of the International Adsorption Society have access to a number of specific resources and benefits:
1. Online access to Adsorption: The Journal of the International Adsorption Society
IAS Members can access our society’s journal, Adsorption, by logging in to the IAS Members Area, then selecting the “Adsorption journal” link the left panel.
2. Free access to the Adsorption Database published by SpringerMaterials, a collection of adsorption isotherms compiled by Prof. Orhan Talu (Cleveland State Univ.) and NIST.
To access this Adsorption Database, request an ‘association code’ from the IAS Secretary-Treasurer.
3. Adsorption Jobs Board
New to 2021, the IAS is hosting a simple jobs board where IAS members can list jobs relevant to the adsorption community. This is a ‘self-maintained’ job board, where an IAS member can create a listing and provide instructions for correspondence with applicants.
To create a listing, log in to the IAS Members Area, select “Job Listings” in the left panel, then “Add New” and fill out the form.
Job listings are publicly visible at https://www.int-ads-soc.org/jobs
The adsorption jobs board is in a trial period for the first half of 2021, after which the utility and use of the board will be evaluated.
4. Member preference for IAS Webinars
IAS members may register to attend the live Zoom instance of IAS Webinars. This allows members to directly submit questions to the moderators, in preference to viewers on other platforms.
